IB Exam Fees
Students only need to pay IB exam fees when they register for the exams. Students who are on Free/Reduced lunch will have their exams completely paid for. The fees vary from year to year. IB charges $172 for registration, and $116 per exam. The Oregon Department of Education does subsidize the exams, which changes the cost from year to year. You can expect to pay less than the amount published by IB.
All fees are due by November 14th, unless special arrangements have been made with the IB Coordinator.
Registration occurs in mid-October, and exams are held in May. There are NO REFUNDS for IB exam and registration fees.
Fundraising for IB Exam Fees
One option for fundraising for IB exam fees is to utilize the SCRIP program at GHS. Forms and information can be found here. The Scrip program involves purchasing pre-paid cards from local businesses, (like Fred Meyer), who in turn kick back a percentage of your purchase to your student's account.
You may also work in the Concessions stands to pay for your exams, contact K.Childress for information.
